The Faculty of Arts and Sciences
As one of the founding faculties of our university, our faculty began its educational life in 1997 with the Department of English Language and Literature and the Department of Mathematics and Computer Science. The Department of Translation and Interpreting (English) was established in 2006, the Department of Psychology in 2011, and the Department of Computer Science in 2025. Our faculty employs a total of 32 academic and 3 administrative staff, including 7 professors, 3 associate professors, 14 assistant professors, 3 lecturers, and 5 research assistants.
The language of instruction in all departments within our faculty is English. All departments offer two types of scholarships: 100% and 50%. In addition to these, the Department of Psychology also offers a non-scholarship quota.
Our faculty has a “Translation and Interpreting Simultaneous Translation Laboratory,” a “Translation and Interpreting Freelance Laboratory,” and an “Experimental, Cognitive, Social, and Clinical Psychology Laboratory (PsychayaLab)” designed to provide our students with applied research and training opportunities. In addition to courses, these laboratories can be used by students for both independent and supervised scientific research.
Our faculty offers master’s and doctoral programs within the Department of English Language and Literature, and master’s programs within the Departments of Mathematics and Psychology.
Our faculty’s Mathematics Department provides service courses to other faculties at our university. Additionally, double major and minor programs are offered in the Departments of English Language and Literature, English Translation and Interpreting, Mathematics, and Psychology. This provides our students with the opportunity to study in multiple fields.
